AGAINST BLAND,

BITE BACK FOR SHARK & MARINE CONSERVATION

WHY IT MATTERS. . .

The food industry significantly impacts the marine environment through nutrient pollution from agriculture runoff, creating oceanic "dead zones," and releasing plastic waste.

Overfishing and destructive fishing practices damage habitats and biodiversity, while aquaculture contributes to water pollution and requires wild fish for feed.

Climate change, driven partly by food emissions, causes acidification and warming, further destroying marine ecosystems.

here at flavour punks, we take nothing from the ocean apart from our sea salt. we try, as much as a small business can, to vet all our suppliers to ensure they use sustainable practices.

we understand that The ocean generates 50 percent of the oxygen we need, absorbs 30 percent of all carbon dioxide emissions and captures 90 percent of the excess heat generated by these emissions.

It is not just ‘the lungs of the planet’ but also its largest ‘carbon sink’ – a vital buffer against the impacts of climate change.

The ocean is central to reducing global greenhouse gas emissions and stabilizing the Earth’s climate. looking after keystone species is key for a healthy ocean & planet.

we don't want to just 'do no harm', we want to actively do good. thats why we've teamed up with the amazing charity, bite back. we are committed to spreading the word & each one of our products is a donation to the cause.
